Not every project is destined to live online in perpetuity. That said, here are a few of mine that have stuck around.

Every Congressional Committee needs a website, and the Natural Resources Committee is no exception. The site was a joint effort of myself and the Committee staff with an external vendor.
Laura Judith Scott, a DC & NYC-based actress, was looking for a simple but attractive website that she could update herself. I gave her a website driven by a simple content management system, featuring her headshots, resume, and recent news.
The U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming brought Congressional attention to the increasingly important issue of climate change from 2007 - 2010. While a contractor created the initial site design and a redesign in 2009, I created additional images and handled all content on the site.
If a Digital Native is someone who is completely comfortable in the computer and inernet space, then let it be stated for the record, once and for all: I'm a digital native. I've never had a desk that didn't have a computer monitor softly glowing on top, and it's hard to think of a time when the Internet didn't exist.
I'm also a graphic and web designer who can run with the big dogs - one notable project received over 1.2 million pageviews in the course of a week. As a designer, I'm happiest in Photoshop and straight HTML/CSS, but regularly venture into Illustrator and the rest of the Creative Suite.
I began learning my way through the digital jungle in 1998 with only an O'Reilly book on HTML for a guide. Though the path has taken quite a few twists and turns in the last twelve years, it is still the place I love to spend my time.
Recent clients and projects include Members of Congress, Congressional Committees, Artists, aspiring politicians, and theatrical lighting companies. My work has earned a Golden Dot, Pollie Award, Congressional Management Foundation's Golden Mouse Award, and been recognized by the Webby Awards as an Official Honoree.
